If an event was scheduled to record and publish under the “Ad hoc recordings” area of the Video Portal, it will only be visible to users who are logged in.
To make such a video public, you will need to download the existing podcast from the Video Portal, and then re-upload it to a different area (such as a Faculty or School) and set it’s visibility to ‘public’.
To download a video, click on the options button under it and choose download. If the video opens in a new tab and plays rather than downloads, right-click on it and choose ‘save video as…’.

You can remove the original podcast in the Ad Hoc are by clicking options > Remove video.
