Upcoming Changes
Uploading to 2024/25 courses
As of 3rd September, we have implemented the 24/25 academic calendar to our system. Video uploads are now available for the coming year, as well as the rollover of last year’s videos.
Booking 2024/25 events to record
The Podcast Scheduler is now available to book bespoke events for the 24/25 academic year. You will not be able to book a recording for an event before the 16th of September anymore, but if you wish to do so, please submit a ticket and we will add it manually.
Whisper transcription service – coming September 2024
Before teaching begins in September, we plan to have switched from the current Google speech-to-text transcription to using Whisper (by OpenAI). The Whisper transcription service will allow greater accuracy in produced subtitles as well as reducing the time taken to make them available.
